Hi all! Just making myself known here! New to the forum, living in NJ breeding disease hardy show dominiques and black bantam cochins!
Small scale but happy to be breeding my 3rd generation of birds, I would love to meet up and kind of find a show circuit menor, I think this year and next my birds are ready to catch some ribbons!
There is a great exotics specialist at a place called Nautilus Avian and Exotics, I spent a lot of time talking with the doctors there and they said that up and down the east coast marek's is so likely that it is should be assumed all birds have it. But it sounds like there is some science in the works to help fight it one day!

Readington in Hunterdon County! I have 3 full grown ladies: Welsummer, Easter Egger, and Dominique. and 5 babies in the brooder right now. I started with 6 but I have a Mareks positive property and it was a tough year for that. Glad to see so many NJ'ers here.
