Only fouri have 5 now. It's just so hard because there are so many cool breeds out there!!! I thought my kids (ok, me really) would get a kick out of hatching and selling them. My hopes would be that no one would buy them and i'd have to keep them.
I just hope you don't have crappy neighbors nearby like mine that might report you. I got reported for having my coop too close to the fence. We got into a fight with this guy next door a few years ago, but it isn't even his house! Him and his wife live across town. We live next to his mother in law, but they sometimes stay at the house on weekends. This jerk claimed that my chickens were waking up his wife (WHO DOESN'T EVEN LIVE THERE) even though the coop was only two feet out of boundaries. The zoning director came to our house an we ended up moving the coop over and had to rebuild our run to fit within the boundaries. It didn't really make much of a difference though, because my birds are no quieter than before. In the fall, I caught him spraying my hens with a hose too.
