Sounds really cute. Maybe slip him under your jacket on the way out, lol. Having a rough week here. My arthritis is going heywire thanks to insurance changing med policy. My GL Brahma was always subject to pecking, and they got her good on Monday. Trying to heal her indoors but she has some infection and about an inch of tailbone exposed. Ugh poor thing. She is eating and drinking so that's good. I'm doing my best cleaning it daily. She is. Issuing a lot of flesh. I just don't know if I'm doing right by her. Then one of my five wellsummers just took a down turn today. It is smaller that the others. Probably wont make it.NJchix & Shadowrabbit- I neutered the cuuuuuuuutest boy bunny today and thought of you both! He's rediculously cute. More like a dog than a bunny. He has really shaggy hair. Not like medium length hair, more like messy hair. Only on his head and face. It looks like a bad case of bed head. He has really floppy ears too like Eor from whinnie the pooh. So cute! Hhhmmm, maybe i'll bring a bunny home.................![]()
The little wellie girl died. She had a small umbilical herniation which wasn't there when I brought her home.![]()
I can't have her with anyone right now, her wound is BIG and still healing. They would go right at it again. Maybe when she's healed but she may never grown in all her feathers. I have the lady who makes the chicken saddles trying to come up with something that will protect her back there once she is healed and then till feathers grow back. She is living in the house in the living room next to the babies. They really did a number on her and I don't know if she will ever be normal back there. I hope I did the right thing. The first night I actually hoped she would pass in the night. And the wellies I picked up on Monday with that Easter egger that is so darn cute. So I have 8 babies now and waiting to see what kahlua hatches. Thanks for the offer I may take you up on it in the future.I'm so sorry to hear all of that! The cold weather makes your arthritis worse too right? Do you want me to try your GL at my house for awhile? Lorainne is doing great and my others never picked on her even when most of her lower back was exposed. She really thrived. I'd be happy to try her if you want and maybe when she heals up she can be reintroduced. Is the wellsummer one of your new babies?
I think i'll have a sympathy bottle of wine for you. Let me know if i can help, please.
