New Jersey

Well today was another windy day....... I didn't get covered in shavings since i wasn't wet like yesterday but i was wearing chapstick

Not as funny as yesterday since the shavings that stuck to my mouth were ones i had just swept out of the coop. Ok, it's kinda funny hee hee.

It's funny how if it's our own pets fur or feathers that gets in our mouths it's no big deal. I pick dog hair out of my food all the time. I've opened a new box of cereal and swear i've found my dogs hair in it. I'd throw up if a persons hair was in my food. That's including my own.

I thought of you njchix as i was putting two eggs in my pocket and quickly put one in the other pocket. I figured after the mouth full of shavings i better not test fate :)

Were the shavings clean or stinky?

You are so right about the pet hair and feathers. We ate dinner with Ralph (the rat) on my daughters lap. I still share ice pops with the dog. Sorry if I grossed anyone out.

You wanna hear gross? I used to eat dinner with my rat, but he would steal all the food off my plate and I had to start locking him up. He would free roam my living room, which means poop and pee where he pleased. He had two places. Behind the electric fireplace, and in the couch. I also used to share shaved ice and drinks with him. We have done some major cleaning since then, including trashing that couch.

My hubby is out of state. Ralph must be out before he gets back. He is very tolerant of the 20+ chicks in the liveingroom And some more to come. It will scale down once we figure who is a roo. He Really doesn't like cats but he let me keep 4. He is really very understanding of the country girl.

He is a North Jersey guy. Watching me clean the yard with chicks and dogs in bare feet makes him go inside

How old is your daughter? Can't she just cry a little and throw in some "please daddy" and bat her eyes a bit??? When does your husband come home? Teach her the ways of us coniving women!:clap
