Hi jerseyhen! I think I've probably found some EEs that I will be getting at the Sussex show, but thank you so much for the offer! As for the turkens, I ended up having a better than expected hatch of turken mixes! I'm crossing my fingers for a girl, but we'll see!

I totally messed up the day my turken/showgirl eggs I got from Kahlua were due to hatch! Somehow I had it in my head that they were due today but I went down to the incubator on Friday to move them out of the turner and I heard peeping! Even though my humidity was low and they were turning that whole time, I had seven out of nine eggs hatch! No sticky chicks and all are beautifully weird looking! One even has six toes on each foot!

I let my birds out yesterday for a bit while I was outside (too many hawks to let them out unsupervised!) and they were so happy. Of course they acted as though I never give them food or water! Lol

Mine have 24hr amnesia, lol. Ok, you sure that's not a mini black condor? I just don't know about those necks? It's very cute with the fuzzy head.

Happy Easter Friends!
Thanks for all the information and support for this newbie and her flock.
We had my Son's Birthday Pictures taken last week and I wanted to share this shot with you.
He LOVES these Chicks, and call them his babies

Again, Happy Easter!!
Very cute.

I'm not real familiar with that area, hopefully some other may be able to help. The areas of Pennington, hopewell and skillman are not too far, bit I don't know about housing prices. Prices will probably be his biggest challenge. I wish him luck.

I am Not from that area, however I can tell you that Lambertville is a great town, it sits on the Delaware rive. Super cool little town, lots of little shops. It is also right across the Delaware ( walking bridge) from New Hope PA, another great town. I don't know the town code there, sorry. If I could move that area would be number one for me. Good Luck.

I'm pretty sure lambertville and new hope are very far away from bridgewater. Bridgewater itself is nice. Hillsborough is very close and has a great rural laid back atmosphere.

My non chicken friends would think this is completely gross so I'll share it with my chicken friends. We spent a good portion of the day doing some coop, run, and chicken yard area spring cleaning. Every feather my daughter found she stuck in her hair.

I couldn't figure out what looked different about the little black chick. It's so cute but it looked different. It wasn't until njchix said about the neck that I looked back for a closer look and realized it didn't have neck feathers. They look like they have big coats and hats on. :)
