New Jersey

I know this post is a bit old, but I am looking for African goslings and I was wondering if you had the site or contact information still of the breeder you mentioned? Thanks
He only sells hatching eggs if you are still interested message me. There are some other people that had them at Sussex but i don't know if they breed them

This is for everyone, not just this post:

Whenever you're looking for specific birds, no matter the breed, the first thing you should do is check out that breed's club website or FB page, and also see if there's a thread for that breed on BYC. Some clubs will only hand out breeder's names with a membership, others will give you a list of breeders near you. Since NJ is pretty much a chicken desert compared to other states, this is your best bet. (Plus, I'll be honest, some of these breeders aren't just going to hand over the birds they've worked on for thirty years to someone who hasn't "paid their dues" by becoming active in the breed club, or been a presence on the web sites, or introduced themselves to the breeders at shows. I can't say that I blame them.) I remember saying that almost every bird I have has come from another state, except for the Jersey Giants. Good luck!

I usually do not hand out a breeders information without their permission first. The best place to try and find waterfowl breeders would be IWBA. Only call ducks and I believe khaki Campbells have their own breed club.

Just pets. I had a pair a few years ago, and I would like to again. I didn't want to order from a hatchery because I just want a couple. I've been looking at the IWBA site since a few days ago, but I confess I'm not making any progress with that.
I would recommend coming to the Sussex Show In May. It usually has a couple of African Geese breeders and you may be able to buy some at the show or network to buy later on in the year. That is how I purchased my Muscovy Ducks, I met the breeder at the Sussex Show in the Fall and in the Spring I bought ducklings from him.

Thank you, I will look into that

Bellefarm, you might also want to consider the Delmarva Show, in March in Harrington, DE. It's a great show about the size of Sussex - people very friendly, and doable in a day trip.(They have a great buffet next door at the casino, too!) It's much easier to spend time - and locate! - the breeders at smaller shows.
