@BreakYourFrame Where are you located? I got my Seramas and just got a Silkie pullet from Angel in Belleville. He handles his chicks every day and they are amazingly sweet.

Hi there! I’m down in Howell (Southern Monmouth County). I just got them today, but they seem pretty comfortable being handled. A few friends got chickens (other breeds) from the same farm I went to locally.@BreakYourFrame Where are you located? I got my Seramas and just got a Silkie pullet from Angel in Belleville. Off topic but I live in Millstone too and usually describe it as 5 min away from GA. The other day I had some smart ass guy ask me why I wouldn’t want them to build that new hotel AND why I would want to live 5 min from GA. I was like uhhhhh because my town rules!I'm from Monmouth County, Millstone Twp, New Jersey. About 5 minutes from Great Adventure. Have 19 chickens, 15 guineas and 2 peacocks. Horses, dogs and cats. Raised the new chickens and guineas this spring. Looks like I'm going to have too many roosters. Today we put a basin partially filled with water and two small boats. Sat with them for awhile, one chicken ran through the basin. No other action. Tonight took out some goodies for them. The two boats were missing. Found one? Did they sail the other one away? I'm sure it will show up. They do love play toys and their new swing (homemade by my hubby). Put tree stumps in there. Some upright for sitting and some on their side for bug hunting. Perches, high for the peacocks, a little lower for the other birds. They love walnut tree leaves.
I have a production red boy that needs a good home if you’re interestedVery cool. I'm in Colts Neck Monmouth county. I have about 30 chickens and a bunch of cats. I dont have a rooster currently. What type do you have?
