New Jersey

I see the light at the end of the tunnel for my coop. Only HW cloth, door for the run and window for the coop to go.

Would that work?
works great. I put damp leaves in the run so they can hunt for creepie crawlies and I put a heap under cover so it dries out and use that where they poop under their roost.
Works great and is free if you don't count all the time I spend every weekend raking up leaves!

So for jersey can my chicks go to the coop this year? I was thinking of putting them in the coop when they are 8 weeks or fully feathered. That would be November.
They can go in as long as they have all their feathers, which is around 8-10 weeks old. They should be fine. Hopefully you get some fresh eggs this spring!

Hi there! I have several dozen Celadon coturnix quail hatching right now. The celadon gene causes the quail to lay beautiful blue eggs. All of these chicks hatched from blue eggs, the previous generation (their parents) all layed blue eggs, and I expect that at least 75% but more likely 100% of the hens will lay blue eggs as adults. These are straight run chicks, gender unknown. The photos are of previous chicks.

I’m asking $20 per dozen, local pickup only, I will meet you outdoors at a public place, and will observe social distancing. The chicks are currently hatching, There will be between 2 and 3 dozen available. I hope to sell them this weekend.

I also have Celadon hatching eggs available for $10 per dozen.

You will receive the chicks only, you must set up A brooder to care for them.

Are you still selling chicks?

Are you still selling chicks?
I have snowies I bought from Myshire hatching next weekend, and I will fill the incubators after that, so I’ll probably have chicks in about 3-4 weeks from now. It’s possible I might sell some of the snowies, I can let you know if I do. The snowies are not celadons tho.

Snowies? Are they a color variation of coturnix quail?
