Sussex County Poultry Fanciers Annual Spring Show

Saturday May 21, 2011 9 - ?

NJ State Fairgrounds, Augusta, NJ

This is the only poultry club left in NJ for adults.

Looking for a peacock, turkey, quail, pheasant and emu eggs for a 4-H project. (not for hatching). Located in South Jersey (Burlington County)

We are looking to blow out the eggs, so do not want fertile eggs and are hoping to be able to get them donated.

I did put this in the wanted section, but thought I'd put it here too.

Thanks.

Andrea

Hey guys! I'm planning to bring a few things to sell at the Sussex show, but figured I'd offer them here first if anybody is interested.

I've got a pair of fairly nice call ducks. I've had them for a few years and the mom produces lots of babies for me each spring. The male is breeder quality, but throws awesome babies. He comes from a superb blood line. The female I bought at the sussex show from a breeder and I would say she is also breeder quality. I have to wait until after Thursday because there is one member in our club who has babies of theirs and may be interested in these guys, but if you are interested just let me know. I'm only asking $10 for the pair on these guys to BYCers. (I have pictures somewhere but apparently not on FB)

I also have four ringneck doves. They are two pairs. One is a tangerine, one is a pied, one is a normal gray, and one is an albino. The albino and the gray are males. The other two are females. Very sweet birds. I just don't have time for them. They've produced a LOT of babies for me over the years! They are together now, but I'm willing to split up into two pairs. I'm just asking $5 per pair to BYCers.

Lemme know if you have kids in 4-H willing to show these birds. I would love to see them go to a 4-Her, but I'm mostly just looking for good homes. I can either bring them to the sussex show or I can meet locally before this weekend.
