New Mama Bunny Had A Litter!!

One of our first rime rabbit mamas just had her babies this past Saturday.

I didn't take any pictures of the babies the first couple of days because I wanted the Mama to have her space and everything. But yesterday I managed to snap a pic of some of them.

There are 4 little ones and I am just so excited!!

Cute! What breed are they?

The was from a previous litter from a Californian Doe and a Pure Black Buck who was sold to us as a "Meat Rabbit".

The above cage was only temporary because they were both inside because of a nasty winter we had that year.


The Dad of this new litter is white with gray spots and the Doe is a female that I don't actually know the breed of.

So whatever breed these bunnies are going to be is a mystery. Unless anyone can identify what the Mom's breed is.

Here is an update of them at 3 weeks old!

This little one is Jackson. He's the biggest of them all. He loves to be held and, so far, is the tamest of all the 4 babies.

This is the Mama and the 3 other babies.

And this is the Dad of the litter.
