I’m new to BYC! Y’all show me some love ! Who else lives to raise birds!?! Lol I had chickens since I was 10 I’m now 22 but I have chickens games, standards, and bantams. I have ducks geese guineas pigeons and also quail but I think at some point within them 12 or so years I’ve had almost anything with a feather all but peacocks and peahens ! Can anybody relate and wanna talk birds!?!?🕊 even tried out pigs I enjoyed them but not like my birds !!

Well thanks I’m loving the site already! Yes! It is definitely something that runs in your blood! Lol after being bit by the bird bug it’s a wrap! You will have birds till the day you die is how I feel about them they have helped me in life in ways I never thought! How long have you been a member?

I've only been on the site a few day, and in 6 days I'll of had chickens for a year, which isn't that long but I'm already addicted, I've had 2 different sets of chicks and it's true what they say about chickens being a gateway drug, cause soon I'll be getting 2 geese as well

It’s a great thing to get into for sure throughout my teenage years my birds kept me out of trouble! Instead of running around with all my buddies doing things they shouldn’t be doing... But me! I was in my backyard with all my birds! That are a blessing for me for sure! But that’s really exciting guard geese are awesome! I’m gonna try and post a video of my guard geese for you! Give me a min because I’m still learning how to use this phone the internet is still new to me if you know what I mean lol

I certainly can relate, they keep me out of trouble, and they brighten up my day when im sad, they are the best, also wanted to point out I don't intebd for the goode to be a guard goose, just an additional to the flock, although guarding is a plus I do suppose

Video wouldn’t load I’m sorry but here is a pic! Some people say if your using the geese for guard geese to get ONLY 1 and raise it with your chickens but I got my geese already full grown and after about a month they do the job just fine! Even with 2 geese and me not raising them with the other birds but that’s just my experience with the geese I wish you good luck on the geese!!
