Greetings from WI!
It is finally acting like spring here!!
We have had laying hens for 10 years now. In last 3 years we have raise meat chickens using chicken tractors
We have 4 hens right now. We are gearing up to increase to 10 later this spring. Currently we have 60 meat chicks that are two weeks old.
Our hens are a mixed breed, our meat birds are Cornish Crosses
We like raising chickens for fresh eggs. In addition their is nothing better tasting that a pasture raised chickens.
Other hobbies are gardening, making maple syrup, wine, beer, fermented hot sauces and other fermented things.
Looing forward to learning more from this group.
