Hi, I’m new here but have been stalking the threads for advice for a while now 😁 I have 8 chickens at the moment, three frizzles, two silkies, one isa brown a pekin bantam and a Vorwerk rooster (previously known as Karen but is now Kevin).
I’ve had a few troubles along the way this past year and have relied heavily on all the advice I’ve found here, so thank you to all who make threads.
Looking forward to adding some comments from now on!

I would love to know the story behind the Karen to Kevin rename! Welcome!

Haha! well when I first got ‘Karen’ he was just a week old, and I’m not a pro at sexing yet, he was quite small in comparison to the other chicks so I just assumed. As time went on it became clear this was a very disgruntled chick who would repeatedly ask for the manager! And even served some time for bad behaviour 😂 hence the name Karen (still thinking he was a she) but he has since been cock-a-doodling 🙄 and we are often yelling at him to be quiet (ref home alone) Karen became KEVINNNN 😱😁😅
