    Hello,
I do not have any chickens yet. I really wanted to learn before my first arrival. I will be looking at all areas of the site. Seems like there is a wonderful amount of information here to get me started.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Hi Kim and [IMG] - glad to have you join us. Yep, there's tons of info here which should be enough to keep you busy for a wee while. The learning centre is a good place to state, as is your state thread.

Tell us, what breed and number of chickens are you planning on?

I wish you all the best with your impending chicken adventure [IMG]

    Hi Kim, [IMG]

Good for you on doing homework first! You'll be miles ahead doing that rather than just diving in and "winging it".

If you have questions, feel free to ask.

    Good luck!

[IMG] glad you have joined us. And congratulations on your plans to get your own flock. You are on the cusp of a great, wonderful new adventure.

Also visit the coop sections to explore a style to suite your needs and explore predator protections.

I don't know yet what breed. I am looking for friendly chickens, but that also lay a decent amount of eggs. The looks of the chickens don't matter to me. I'm thinking of maybe 4-5 to start out with. Any suggestions as to breeds would be great. Thanks[IMG]
