hello everyone my name is Roberta and i am from central massachusetts ...my hubby and i are looking into a backyard flock again in the spring.. he had kept a flock off and on for about 20 years. its been a long time since we,ve had a flock, and i am hoping to get the spelling of the breeds correct if anyone should ask what breeds of birds we kept.. i know we had rhode island reds(,great layers. at that time when my son was small,he loved to play with them. those girls were his favourites . he was about 4 or 5 years old then, he is now 19) we also had white leghorns, this is the spelling unsure of, barred rocks arucanas, astralop, buff orfingtons????? and i know if i poke around for names of breeds on the site i know i would recognize a few more breeds we had... i am looking forward to learning even more on our feathered flocks, and meeting some lovely people along the way..
