I just found this site and thought it will be helpful in the future. I don't do very well navigating forums. I am a very new chicken enthusiast. This is only my second year raising them. I first bought my stock at Tractor Supply last year and they are doing very well. This year however when I wanted to increase my flock, I could not get them at Tractor Supply because they could not keep them in stock. So I ordered from efowl.com and had them sent directly to me. Best decision I ever made. I could not be happier with the quality of my stock. I now have 19 Rhode Island Reds (from Tractor Supply last year, obviously not pure bred). And just this past May I placed the orders to get my pure bred Rhode Island Reds My roosters are New Hampshire Reds only because I thought they looked prettier as adults (given the pictures I have seen). My total flock now with the new chicks from this year is up to 62.

I look forward to learning a lot from this community and hope some day to help others learn.

BTW my original 19 are now producing about 13 eggs a day. Not too shabby for my first attempt, if I must say so myself.

Thanks,
