(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've just recently got my first flock of chickens, only last week. Although this is my first flock, I have helped a friend take care of her Easter Eggers.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 13 pullets, ages range from 5 days-2 weeks. The slightly older ones are very good to the younger chicks.

(3) What breeds do you have?

I consider myself to have a very mixed flock of ALL pullets:
•5 Buff Orpington(2 weeks old)
•3 Leghorns(2 weeks old)
•2 Golden Comets(2 weeks old)
•2 Easter Eggers(5 days old)
•1 Olive Egger (5 days old)

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
As a mom, I love to take care of people and animals and watch them grow.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy baking and watching Tiger King on Netflix. 😂

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My fiance and I have a 4 month old baby boy and are getting married next spring! I spend my time as a stay at home mom, tending to my 13 baby chicks, 2 cats, 2 dogs; and still make time to cook dinner. 🦸🏼‍♀️😂

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Before I bought my chicks, I did a lot of research to make sure I had everything I needed to properly care for them and this website had given me so much good information. Just about any topic I had questions on; I found my answers here! And now that I have my flock, I would like to join a community that I can get advice(and give advice as I learn) along the way.
