Good morning, welcome to BYC.
I'm going to agree with @DobieLover my chickens are for the most part, pets. I cannot imagine having to give them up. And it happens. Many people join backyard chickens because they need to quickly rehome a flock that they thought they could keep on the sly.
If you decide to get them, please have an alternative home lined up for them. Best of luck!

Daisy, Rose and Snowflake are triplets and were born on 12/23/21. Daisy and Rose are a package deal and ready for adoption to a good home. Snowflake became our bottle baby after 16 days, so it would be pretty hard to part with her for that special reason.

How far is East Texas from NC?
