I'm stuck on how to build the right coop for this climate. We don't have a huge yard either. Was thinking of getting 4 bantams so nothing big. We have a big and small dog and a cat so those are to be taken into consideration. I've wanted chickens for years and it's time to just do it. I also keep a 4'x16' garden. When I first joined the community, I had some rather hateful people talking down on me for having ,hens’ that being silkies in our yard with an HOA. They said there was no way it would work, and here we are 3 years in with no problems. I recommend you talk to your neighbors within closest vicinity to you, but other than that you should be totally fine! Congrats and hope you have fun!
