We got 3 chickens and 3 ducks on the same day. They're all 6 months old. We also have a rescue chicken who we think is younger. Unfortunately, he was malnourished to the point that he was skin stretched over bone, so we don't know if his small size is related to his age or restricted growth.

The two hens we do have are laying eggs, but not interested in sitting on them. The ducks are all boys. They would love to have a female duck to mate with but it's not likely to happen. We only expected to end up 4 birds in the first place (not that we would ever get rid of any of our feather babies).
