I rescued two pigeons from the school where I work. They both seem young, but both still have pinfeathers everywhere below the neck. I have had the for two and a half weeks and there has been no change. They eat and drink like there are no problems. My bird experience with chickens and others has been limited, but I never have seen pinfeathers stay with a bird this long. Does anyone have any ideas?
Can you post a photo of them to get a better idea of their age? They may be too young to be feeding themselves entirely on their own. Until they are completely feathered I would be feeding them a mixture of chicken pellets mixed with water and ground up in a blender to the consistency of ketchup. You have to make a special device to feed so the bird can stick his beak in and suck down the mixture. ...Hi and welcome to BYCWe're so happy you've decided to join us
@biophiliac can you offer some advice?

I agree they should be more developed by now. I suspect they are not getting enough nourishment...it takes a lot of protein to grow feathers. They both have looked like this for 2.5 weeks, should be out of pinfeathers by now I would think...
