Hi all-

I have finally gotten around to joining BYC. As a long time stalker while first getting my chickens, I have gained so much knowledge from this site alone. I figured that it was about time to become an official member. I have three chickens that have definitely crossed over into the pet category as they are far losing their usefulness as layers in their old age. I hope to see a ton of cool coop designs (one can dream after all, can't they?) and to have some questions answered about poultry diseases. Thanks in advanced!

Welcome to BYC, Nova! Glad you signed up. There are a lot of really well thought out coops on the site. Are you building a new one? I recently built a hoop coop. They are economical and relatively fast and fairly easy to build.
You might want to look in on the thread for your state under Where am i , Where are you? Fun to see what others in your area are up to.
Hope to see you posting, this is a fun site and the folks are quite helpful.
