I'm new to this forum.
I live northwest UK. I have 9 chickens (1 speckled sussex and 8 jersey giant chicks), 16 quail, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 4 ferrets and pigeons.
Any advise on keeping and breeding quail or keeping jersey giants would be greatly appreciated. My jersey giants are only 5 weeks old (hatched 29th October in incubator) so sexing tips would be great (I think I have 3 cockerels and 5 pullets from behaviour).

My quail are pol (5 roosters and 11 hens split into 3 breeding groups with 2 spare cocks in their own cage) they're lovely little birds.
The jg chicks are 1 white, 2 splash, 2 blue 3 black

If you haven't yet, please make your chickens a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!
