Welcome to the flock! It sure sounds like you're "Livin' the Life!" Your Ranger sounds a lot like my Skye (that's her in my avatar pic.) When Mama sits down at the computer, it's playtime. She brings every toy she can find over and shoves it into my hand, my lap, my shoe, whatever she can reach ... and she usually wins. I've gotten very good at typing in short spurts or with just one hand!Hi,I am new here
We live in south Texas and have been checking out advice on the forums for a couple years and just decided to join.
I have husband who spoils me rotten, 4 children and 6 grandchildren whom I just adore.
I am still employed full time and decided 2 years ago to raise chickens and ducks which is something I had always wanted to do but thought it was too much work (after work).
I love my feather friends.
We have 7 hens (1 Orpington and 6 white Plymouth Rock)that are approaching 2 yrs old this March, still laying well, 2 lavender Orpington hens 1 yr old and 7 white rocks 1yr old 1 lavender rooster and 1 white rock rooster.
We also have 2 Rouen ducks and 1 Peking named Quackers who rules the yard. She is very vocal when her rules are not followed
We also have 2 Cocker Spaniels,1 of which(Ranger) who has been dropping his ball next to me the whole time I’m writing this because he thinks play time is All the time
