This explains your lack of white eggs! That is a White Rock. They lay very nice brown eggs.

She appears to be a Sapphire Gem.Haven't figured out her breed. Think EE.
My Wyandotte cockerel is actually very gentle. My girls are too. Especially the Sapphire gem. She is very docile. My son has 1 silky pullet, 1 silky cockerelMy japanese bantam that was hatched this spring is brooding 3 eggs after laying about 20 eggs. They are developing...fingers crossed they hatch! She wouldn't be a good match for larger more aggresive breeds, though. My large fowl silkies and bantam wyandottes push her around. I had a large fowl cochin broody that hatched eggs and was a good mom. She was broody a lot.
and Welcome to Backyard Chickens!
to have you here with us. Enjoy your time here at BYC!
Best wishes and have lots of fun!
Very pretty birds you have. It will be good for your pullets to mature a bit before they start hatching out eggs. All in good time
