:welcome
Welcome!
I don't use heat lamps, even in winter because of the power went out when I'm out of town the chickens would be so used to the heat that they would freeze.
And chickens need a break from laying. If you make them lay all winter they don't have a break and it will shorten their life.
In the winter I don't clean the coop, but I add more sawdust to make insulation.
Have fun with your chickies.

Welcome :welcome Nice to have you here! If you insulate you need something more solid than cardboard to cover. I live in Wisconsin, do not use heat. Deeper bedding in winter, no draft but good ventilation is key. I cover the run with clear plastic in winter to keep snow and wind out but allow light in. I rake a lot of dry leaves in the run, it keeps the chickens busy to scratch around in. My chickens will go out in the run all winter, most days they will even go out in the yard for a while as long as I keep a path shoveled. Biggest issue is to keep unfrozen water available but that can be managed by different means
