Ticks are nasty little creatures! And they can carry so much more than Lyme disease, as if that wasn’t bad enough. Our property is by a river, we are so infested with the American Dog Tick (doesn’t carry Lyme) that we can see them questing on the tips of the long grass by the river ticks were definitely part of our decision to get chickens as well!! I hope your daughter is feeling better and doesn’t have any long lasting symptoms.
