New member here who is a city dweller in California. I have a flock of 4 laying hens, a Barred rock, a BR cochin, a Sicilian Buttercup and an Easter Egger. So far, so good with them. But, we just got 5 baby chicks, and after 2 days of being perfectly fine, one of the chicks can't walk or stand for longer than about 5 seconds. I love getting advice from experienced chickens handlers and I sure could use some now! She has had a spraddle leg hobble on for almost 24 hours, and we have done the coffee cup therapy, but, these things are not working. She is a beautiful little Splash Ameracauna and she just seems so sad. Any advice is welcome.
