Anyone interested in acquiring some Easter Eggers? I'm interested in trading some of mine for other varieties, other species such as rabbits, or homegrown produce.

On impulse, I ordered 25 "Ameraucana" pullets that are now a couple weeks old.. They are happily putting on weight and growing feathers in their straw bale nursery under a 250 watt lamp.

I've made tentative arrangments with another BYC member to trade a few in January for dressed cornish roasters (thank you Jacob!).

I live in Valencia County, work in Albuqueque, and willing to drive a bit to make a trade.

Just getting started in Luna, NM, west side of the state. No chickens yet but have raised bantams all my life. Mostly BB reds. Old truck driver/heavy equip operator. Been living in AZ, but to many regulations and home owners associations. Luna has none, why I'm there. Intend to raise several breeds of bantams. Been building a deck, storage sheds, and now a green house, coop after that.
ya just gotta love em.

Welcome Mesa! I moved to the bootheel from the 4 corners, seven years ago. We lived in Kirtland, and sure loved it up there. But I'm originally from the bootheel area, so this was home, and we couldn't stay away.

Here's another chicken family in Chaparral. We have 19. they are a mix of white plymouth rocks, barred rocks and another kind I can't remember. All very sweet but I wound up with 2 extra roos and they have got to go! If anyone in Dona Ana County is interested please email me! Thanks! Vic
