Only place safe from the bears, huh?

YES! Grrr...

Are you getting rain up there? It's been lightly raining all day off and on here, now it's been steadily drizzling for about 2 hours.

Rain? What's rain??? OMGosh! Are you talking about that wet stuff that falls from the sky?
Think it might make my grass not be so brown and my plants grow? Cause right now everything here plant wise is on death's door LOL and I water and have sprinklers!

Probably would help if I turned the sprinklers back on though... They went off the other night and soaked my new breeding pens that had a new trio and pair of silkies in it. They are on the sidewalk up next to the house so I definitely didn't see that one coming! Wet silkies in the middle of the night was not a fun thing to try and handle I couldn't just leave them outside even at 50 degrees with the wind whipping like it I was scared they'd catch a chill and keel over. Aww geez high maintenance silkies!

Gotta figure out today what the heck to do with the breeding pens hubby is gone for a month doing Army training in N. Cali so moving them isn't gonna happen unless suddenly I can channel Popeye & pop a can of spinach there by easy throwing them into the perfect new spot

Yep you can tell we are neighbors! It's so windy and dusty here it's mind numbing!

It's been raining all night and day today... ugh. My 4 y/o filly got a cut on her leg last week- scrubbing and bandaging sucks as it is, add a downpour of rain and hail... Oh what FUN!!!!! (BTW- this filly will start living in a stall every spring from here on out... she gets a cut leg EVERY April. )
