For sure! They will be about 3 week old when they get here, hope they don't freak too much about being held being that age.
Are you two hatching eggs? That's my next conquest maybe a year or so from now, maybe soon if all the chicks end up being roos and I have to give them all away!
btw who want some pint sized roos in a couple of months???
I am hatching LF B/B and Lavender Ameraucanas and LF Cochins. I got a new
Brinsea 190 for Christmas. I think I'm a bad influence on Blaundee.
Good luck on roo disposal. My DH is getting better at processing my extras.
Aww cool one of the breeds I'm getting are bantam Lavender Ameraucanas
I'm only getting 2 I'm debating on asking to add a third just in case one turns out to be a roo and I can't keep it cause it's too noisy. I'm supposed to keep only 6 chickens (no more than three roos) but I'm going to be over that probably I don't want any super annoying roos making the neighbors mad. I've got a 7ft solid steel panel fence so if I can keep the noise down I think I'll be good
Question though, if one rooster crows does that set the others ones off to crow as well? (like dogs lol)
So are you a hatching enabler??
I was drooling over a
Brinsea ECO 20 when the sale on their site was going on (it might still be...) I didn't order though because the shipping was like $40!
p.s. I pity the person trying to eat a bantam!! haha!!
