Ah, okay... I wanted to say it that way, but wasn't sure how to write it out to ask if it was pronounced that way... LOL

I only have to take the pain meds for as long as it hurts... I have no idea how long it will hurt, but I really don't expect it to for much longer. I was really nervous about getting mine taken out, especially because I was going to be totally put under. As for the actual experience of going under... when I woke up I told the nurse that I haven't slept that well in years! She said that's what everyone says LOL I asked her about 10 times if her name was Mary (it was), then I asked my hubby repeatedly if they gave him my pain pills- he asked me if I needed some water because I kept saying how dry my mouth was, I wound up gagging on the water and coughing it al over the dash of his nice new truck

then I fell asleep for the 2 hour drive home. LOL

Hubby took great care of me yesterday, then I had to sleep on the couch cuz it hurt my sockets to lay down in bed... well, I actually only slept 3 hours anyway, then got up and made hubbys lunch and breakfast before the pain hit me, so I woke him up and took a pain pill and sat on the couch most of the day. He took care of my baby chickens, and Mom took care of the adults, and I went outside too

Walking around got my blood to pumping though and made the sockets hurt, so I won't be doing alot of that this weekend.

If you were any closer I'd highly reccomend the doctor I used, hes very nice and accessible.

I wish I could take pain meds too; it's been a week now since I cracked my ribs and they hurt even worse now. I can take Acetaminophen for pain or Maxalt for my migraines, that's it. I'm glad I do have a really strong pain tolerance though.

There was a pip in one of the fertile eggs I got from Blaundee this afternoon- & it is only day 20! I was worried because the broody got back on the wrong nest one day last week. New chicks for Mother's Day. I can't wait for tomorrow.

I'm finally feeling better, but still taking it easy cuz every time I get my blood pumping much, my sockets throb.... NOT COOL!!!!

I have to share... My MIL bugs us to have kids all the time (we have been married 7 years and do not plan to have kids ever)... I finally told her today that our cat Cami and dog Kenai are the closest things to grandkids shes getting from us. I told her that MY mom is happy with it and LOVES her grandcritters, calls herself "Critter Granny". This kind of disgusted my MIL but it made me happy....

I have a 5yr old nephew named Kenai... I will have to tell him there is a dog that shares his name. To him a dog having the same name is much cooler than any person could be!

There were 2 adorable balls of fluff when I came home today. One snuck out from under mama briefly & I got a pic. There are 5 other eggs under her- one of which may have a pip. We'll see if there are any more babies tomorrow.
