Rain! glorious rain! My chickens are in a bit of a panic! They have no clue what this is falling from the sky... all but my Polish chickens that run out and play in the rain... so funny!

Hey DAK, thought you might like to hear that the lavender babies and the cochin cockerel are all doing well, they are very happy. I let them run around in the front yard this morning while I sat and supervised, they LOVED that!!!

They are beautiful, and I'm looking forward to getting more from you sometime

Hows it all going for everyone? I've been busy with the horses, so haven't been on here much... winter will be here soon, though lol

I never did get any girls from the Doerr hens. I have 1 rarefeathers, and 1 riverwind hen that I might consider letting go as well as the single pullet I hatched from the Horstman/Superior farms eggs.

I was thinking of bringing some Brahma bantams pairs, and a bunch of the Black X GLC cockerels.

I have 2 great-aunts, one aunt, and one uncle coming in tonight, and they will be here til Monday. I really excited to see them!

I am soo excited for the swap meet. It will be my first time going. I do not think I will bring anything but am looking into getting a couple ducks. So we will see.
