still wondering if this is a hen or rooster. It's a 17 week RIR and Buff orpington mix. Hasn't tried to crow yet.

Not the best assortment for pics to guess sex but from what I see it is entirely possible it is a hen.....but a good side view would help....

I gotten three roosters, but they all crowed at 9 weeks and started mating with my hens at 18, so, I think that it's a hen, but a side view would be great.

She's not cooperating too well but hopefully these help.

Her tail is like a roosters, and her body is built more like a Roos, she doesn't have breasts or a saddle built like a hens, and her comb is large, but not that large. She seems more like a rooster, she could be a late bloomer in roo characteristics thought.

True, I didn't notice the wing bow, he looks a lot like a roo.

That looks like a rooster to me. That's a high comb, the change in the color and texture of the cape feathers, and those two extra long sickle feathers on the tail. I really think you'll hear a crow soon. Big healthy looking bird!
