New Posts View

Hey

Due to a few months absence, I am now just navigating my way around the new format which I like very much.

However, I do have a question which I have not been able to find a previous discussion on.

Can someone please tell me what forums, any or all, would be showing up in the 'New Posts' view?

I ask because if I post to a thread and then return to the 'New Posts' view, I believe that updated thread should be near the top or on the first page at least?

I can provide exact examples and screen shots if needed but just wanted to check if the 'New Posts' were limited to particular Forums or all?

For example, I created a thread in the 'Other Pets' Forum and on returning to 'New Posts', could not see it on any of the 4 pages. I could, however, see it in the 'Recent' panel on the right hand side.

I also replied to an existing thread and would have thought that that thread would then be near the top on 'New Posts' but again, could not find it on any of the 4 pages.

Hhhhm, OK, I think you can safely ignore me now

I just found the 'Recent Posts' within the New Posts view and will test that out to see if it answers my question.

honestly after about a 6 month break myself I haven't figured out hope new posts work either.

It seems the immediate chicken ones are most likely to appear in new posts

I think the answer is within the New Posts View > Recent Posts:



The New Posts itself shows a selection and the 'Recent Posts' within that shows all [I think ]

I don't know. I normally only use my phone and i find most of the time i have to update the page to show changes
