New puppy!!!

Oh she is so cute, we have 2 Aussies Mollie and Boomer. And I had a BC as a child. Our Aussies are happy as long as they have a job to do and herding the chickens is one of there favs, especially Mollie she completly mothers them. Boomer was introduced to chickens as a 6wk old pup and started herding immediatly. Enjoy her I think you will find that she is a wonderful, although at times challenging, companion. BTW, when we got Boomer 5 years ago, I knew nothing about Aussies, nor their need for a job and poor guy he thought his name was Boomerda**it for about the first 2 1/2 yrs, luckily he was patient and was able to forgive my ignorance

Well Sassy is still being a good little girl. Instead of being scared of the chickens, she now torments them. She has found that if she stays just out of their range of reach she can yap at them and make them makes a sorts of wierd noises, and she has even figured out that if you make them mad enough they will get a air leak. She is a funny little mutt. We have started her on a leash and she hates the idea of having to go where we want her to. But gradually she is doing better with it. She has also learned how to sit on comand. How ever she is very skittish. I dont know if she has been booted befor e we got her, or what but she really doesnt like my DH. We got her from a Bachelor, so I would have thought she would have taken up to DH first. But it is not the case. My DH hasnt ever hurt her or any thing and he tries to play with her but she rather stay as far away from him as possible.

I can only think that since he is at work all day she hasnt had enough time to bond with him.Where the kids and I are with her all day, she thinks that we are the ones she needs to talk to.However she is his best friend when he has her pink squeky teddy bear. Any body has her Bear and she is really playful. Here are some more updated pictures of her.
