New Rabbit Owner Question?

We have had chickens for awhile and my son as been begging for rabbits. Well I finally gave in but have a quick question. Can I feed our rabbits trimmings from the lawn? (It will be mostly Augustine grass)

Yes, if they are fresh or if you spread them out thin to dry and then rake them up. Rabbits are sensitive to mold and grass clippings mold VERY quickly if left clumped up in the summer heat.
