my family and I were quite hesitant to bring a rooster into our flock of lovely hens. We were “donated” a rooster who needed a home. Now, normally this might have been an issue. But he has been the most gentle and patient rooster ive ever had. He only crows in the morning, but is a woderful gaurd to our flock. He is loving and loves his new yard. He points out food and scratch, and loves to be held.
Problem is, we have no idea what breed he is. Wed like to get some info on him as no one knows. Close as we can guess hes some sort of either new hampshire, or a cornish.
With his beard and long locks we named him billy gibbons(as in zz top). Yes, all the girls are crazy about a sharp dressed man
