We purchased 2 Sebastopol Eggs from pips&peeps.

2 for 2 on shipped eggs, Woo Hoo!!

In the end we had to help both out as membranes were very tuff.

Hoping for a boy and a girl, only time will tell.

wow I wish I could get all mine to hatch...I tried a couple years ag with 4 eggs but none hatched.....then now i have two staggered hatches (in diff. incubators), 2 in one and 4 i just set this morning in the other.

I hope I am as lucky as you...do you have any tips you'd liek to share?

Actually that first post has the wrong photo. It is of our first two sebbies hatched in December and who are now looking like geese.

Yesterdays hatch:

Too early, not enough coffee.

I have always been told the yellow ones at hatch are the males and the darker ones are the females. Not always 100% but at least 90 - 95% accurate.

That is my understanding as well, although we are not experts on the subject as of yet.

We hatched two "darker" goslings earlier, and were crossing our fingers that we would get at least one male this time around.

DW is Oh So Happy.
