New Silkie Chick bare butt

I got her from a pet store called Pratt’s Pets. They are my first Silkies and partially why I posted was to see if this was a thing with them. Most I have found is they are more proun to pasty butt according to the internet?
I’ve been wanting Silkies for awhile and when I saw them I bought them on impulse. They all have the extra toe. They were in a tank with old English bantams and polish.

I just got silkies in the mail and almost all of them got pasty butt so I would say yes to them being more prone to it. Especially when shipped with the extra stress.
I physically cut the down short and added Vaseline to the butt and fluff so that the poop would slide off.
I have seen some with bare bottoms and they usually feather out just fine. Haha I would count your blessings because it probably will help against pasty butt.
