Baby butts--what is this?

This chick had pasty butt when he arrived. It took about a week to clear up. He still had part of the umbilicus attached and this is what the poop seemed to be catching on.

Noticed during this time that he appeared to have two tails, with the vent below the top one.

Now two weeks old, and this just doesn't look right.

Any ideas?

In the first picture, I would say he should have grown feathers on his butt there. Could he be getting picked on?

In the second picture, I have no idea. That is really strange looking.

He did grow feathers. Some of them came off wth the lump of poop. It's almost like he has 2 tails, with the vent between.

Poop is normal.

Looks like an umbilical hernia?

The only things I can find on umbilical hernia are for newborn chicks.
