New Silkie Chicks...what colors will they be???

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site. My black silkie hen just hatched seven sweet babies. The father is a white silkie. I was shocked when I saw these babies, as I fully expected black or yellowish-white. Any ideas what color they will turn out to be?

They will probably be brown and lavender or splash silkies

The brown one is a partridge. The other could be white. Not all white chicks have yellow down, some are silvery grey.

I second white and partridge. A lot of my white chicks look just like yours OP, some are even darker. They look too dark to be lavender, and its an unlikely color since its recessive and both of your birds would need to be split to lav to produce chicks that color. They can't be splash if your black Silkie is really black, black can't produce splash (only blue and black). Though they could be splash is she's a really dark blue instead of black. Ahhh, Silkies and genetics. Fun stuff.
