Out of my keepers, I only have Diamond left.
Unfortunately we had an incident with Hawks when the chicks were about 4 months old and she was the lone survivor of her siblings.
She is now 8 months old and just recently started laying.

It broke my heart. I loved them so much. Had to completely secure everyone due to a raccoon incident as well. It got their mama, Carrot. We had never had a predator problem before. Everyone is now secured in and our dog is never too far from their coops. Our free range laying hens I rehomed because I didn’t want to have to contain them 24/7.

I have 2 broody silkies right now so hopefully more babies soon! Hopefully Diamond goes broody soon so I can get some more satins as well.
