Hidden just below the stucco'd block fence-line and nestled amongst our tall backyard desert pines, just below grade...My newly constructed and stubbornly built coop is almost ready for the Girls!

Located in a small hamlet south of South Phoenix we have to be careful...Because, as you might suspect, we're all outlaw ranchers out here...So my super secret location must never be revealed.

Pics however are a must!

This is my first try at pictures...Hope this works.

The hen-house inside and out; along with a custom dried Saguaro cactus rib ladder...

For that touch of Southwest!

To make the pictures show up you must use the proper syntax or the picture will not open up in the thread but must be each loaded separately. Try this edit the thread you started and put in front of each picture
Now it would open itself

Like the coop. Do you plan on letting them out form time to time in the back yard?

Wow! it looks great! I'm also a greater phoenix area resident, but pretty new to keeping chickens. Please let me know if you have an specific desert chicken hints for me! or if you just need to get together with another chicken owner!

Beautiful coop - maybe to be more stealthly you could paint in camo colors but maybe not for a dessert. Hmm what if your neighbors hear the stealth chickens??? Is that their house on the other side of the fence?
