I am getting chicks tomorrow and I have never owned chickens before. Maybe “Happy Home“, “Fun Farm”, “Best Barn”, something like that. Do you have any other animals, what kind of flock do you have(the breeds, are they free range, how good are the eggs).

What about “Rainbow Ranch”, you said think rainbow eggs. You might have a colorful farm. (I like names that are two words that both start with the same letter it is catchy to me.)

Based off of your lavender orps and silkies I second Rainbow Ranch as a good name!

Best of luck to you with your new chicks! I started out with chicks this past March and have been adding to them ever since. I have an order of 15 new chicks set to be delivered the first week of November and I am so excited! Right now I have Easter Eggers, Lavender Orpington’s, Marans, Silkies, a RIR, a Barred Rock, and a RLBW. When the newest batch of chicks arrive I will have added quite a few more breeds but don’t want to name them before they hatch so to speak lol and risk jinxing myself. The EE’s, Orpington’s, and Silkies will be the breeds I choose to incubate and hatch for sale. I cannot risk free ranging them because we live super close to the woods and in a protected wildlife area nonetheless but they have an enclosed run to enjoy during the day and a cozy coop for bedtime. In addition to all the chickens I also have ducks, Nigerian Dwarf goats, mini rex rabbits, and mini lop rabbits.
