Not everyone, no. Just the people that have replied to this thread. Keeping chickens in the winter is fairly easy depending on the breed. Heated coops arent really recommended, because if there is a power outage, they lose the heat that theyre accustomed to but it runs on solar and dont have to worry about power outages. Additionally, I dont want any frostbitten combs on my chickens. Roosters are more prone to it, but id rather not take the chance. If you decide to keep them and try the winter thing, I understand. My mom lives @ 117th and wornall and i think I know your house. Is it the one on the corner with the ducks and pond and goats? Everyone loves that house!
