If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Thank you Teila! I have been pleasantly surprised by the warm welcomes from everyone. It's probably a good thing I found this place, as my family/friends/coworkers do tend to eye roll after this long haha. My mother still laughs when I regale her with stories of washing dirty chicken bums and quietly trying to snatch a chicken up who's looking at me with the left-eye-head-turned-up like "What the *cheep* is going on here?? She never chases us!"

Oh, thanks so much. I understand that not everyone is like that or even can be (to each their own), but it's nice to find a kindred spirit! And someone that doesn't think I've completely lost my marbles

As the crow (or raven actually <G>) flies, you aren't that far away. Just the Missouri and the Elkhorns to deal with. It's along and winding road from here but the weather and such are probably similar. Anyway, howdy neighbor!
