New to BYC

Hi everyone! I'm newly hatched here at BYC, and I thank you for having me😁. I have roughly 30+ hens, a couple of roos, and a good mix of Swedish Isbars, Bielefelders, Rhodebars, Cream Legbars, and a breeding pair of Japanese Onagadori. It's great to be in a flock with other feather lovers🐣

I never understood the hype with the Cream Legbars when I was new to chickens but now I see their egg color and how they autosexing and just beautiful birds and now I want some! But later because they cost a pretty penny! Welcome to Backyard Chickens!!

Thank you very much for the warm reception! Here are a few pics of my crew, but definitely not all. 8A67B281-69D3-4CB1-9131-84F599F545FB.jpeg E1F58014-112B-4FFC-B48A-980E47FD5E8A.jpeg 74D8C053-6F71-4464-89B5-3A0794811878.jpeg

Yes, and I do love my Legbar girls! They last the most beautiful sky blue eggs I've ever been privileged to gather. They are a true blessing to us over here in sunny Florida.

Well if you ever have a Cream Legbar rooster that mates with your CL girls then let me know and I’ll drive to you to get some hatching eggs šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‰ I’m in GA. We’re hatching some olive eggs from my Olive Eggers and they look pretty close to Cream Legbars, so I’m able to hold off on buying some CL til I can justify their price to my hubby.
