(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes new, 1.5 months

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6 baby chicks, 3 are a month, 3 are newborns, 3 ducklings, one month old; 2 adult hens, 1 pullet

(3) What breeds do you have?
Wheaton maran-pullet, hen-Hyline, hen- black Austrolop. Chicks-3 Road island reds, 3 newborn chicks- 2 white Silkies, 1 Olive Egger. Ducklings--all 3 Pekin

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The eggs, just thier calm demeanor.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Drawing, singing listening to music.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Married. We have 3 children, 14,11, 1yr. 2 girls, 1 boy.

I don't know why it put my thread as hatching lol. Anyway, hello all!

I am new here as well, but I think when you first start your membership you are labeled as Hatching.. I am a "In the Brooder" - after a while you get another label... and so on. It helps us to see what level membership we are as we respond. It does not imply that you are new to " Chicken raising"- just new to the page. : ) hope that helps.- I hope I was right in this reply, like I said, I am new too!
