Thanks for the warm welcome folks! Not sure how I got directed to this site, likely when I was searching for chicken coop plans. My son is 4yrs old and would love a dog. However, I don't have time to walk it but I'd like my son to get a little interaction with animals and taking care of them at home. The fact that hens lay eggs and don't need to be run and walked, win/win!
